“The check-in was extremely easy. The cabin was clean and comfortable for our family. The host was very accommodating and communicated with us throughout our stay. The pond was great, lots of fun fishing for the kids! We had a great time and we will be back! ”

“Water Street Cabin had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable, cook our meals, and relax. We stayed with our 3 adult children and had plenty of space. We enjoyed the location, and getting to hot tub was a true bonus.”

“The cabin was clean, had plenty of supplies (bedding, towels, etc.), and the property was beautiful. We really appreciated the use of the watercraft. Andy was a great host, and super easy to get ahold of. Overall we had a wonderful stay. ”

“The cabin was really comfortable- we really enjoyed our stay. The spot on the Main Street is an easy walk to coffee shops, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the easy access from McGregor to Effigy Mounds National Monument and Pike’s Peak State Park. ”

“The trains were louder and more frequent than we anticipated. The location being close to Wyalusing State Park and Effigy Mounds was a plus for us. ”

“The house was spacious and lovely, just as pictured online. There was ample room for our group of 26. The outdoors were also beautiful and inviting, as pictured. We had a pickleball tournament (organized and equipped by the kids), volleyball, hide-and-seek (always a favorite) and more. No WIFI or working TV kept the kids off-screen for a few days, but they hardly noticed!”

“The pool and hot tub was so popular with all ages and added to our fun. The size was great. It did not meet expectations in the following We had to clean the countertops and the fully stocked kitchen had poor quality and very used non stick pans. Also the silverware was 1 fork, 2 spoons and 8 knives. Garbage dumpster was a 6 mile or so drive and down a long driveway. We did not have room to transport the garbage the last day and ended up leaving it in the cabin We are not use to fancy and made...

“Trevor was a great host and communicated well. This cabin was exactly what we needed, a weekend to get away and unplug. It was private and peaceful with amazing country views. It also has a small trail cutout through the prairie that is nice for morning or evening walks! This cabin has motivated us to save and purchase or build our own someday. We highly recommend this hidden gem!”
