"A cozy cabin on a pond- surrounded by woods and wildlife. Kitchen is fully stocked. Comfortable beds. Host is open and responsive to questions. We enjoyed a great weekend of games by the fireplace and outdoor walks. Due to wind we were only able to build one outdoor fire but the fire ring is great. Lots of wood available. Enjoyed our time and have visited before and will be back. "

"My son and I stayed 6 nights in an accessible room. The website mentions that you have to request housekeeping during longer stays, but even when we did, we found the service a bit unpredictable. There was no niche or shelf for toiletries in the shower, which was inconvenient. Of the five staff members I spoke to during the visit, only one graced us with a smile while we were there. The breakfast was ok, but only one day offered scrambled eggs and sausage; the biscuits and gravy on the other days were not as welcome. Fortunately, the waffle maker remained a reliable alternative. My grandsons loved the pool, which helped make up for some of the other shortcomings, and the location was very convenient. Unfortunately, the town is too small to offer any real competition and the place feels like it."

"This amazing property was perfect for our bookclub/girls weekend! It was extremely clean, perfectly appointed and the sunset views were amazing!!! Some specifics that I loved...the beds were very comfortable, there was an extra space for hair and makeup if the bathrooms were occupied, and the water pressure was great! We will definitely be back!!"
