No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa. Gina was very helpful and welcoming and contact with the owner was seamless prior to arrival. There is a lot to do on the island and a car is definitely required to see all the sights and navigate the various hills and valleys. We took the cable cars in Funchal and visited the botanic gardens which were lovely. Would come back to visit again"
