Completely renovated with custom windows, gourmet kitchen, hardwood floors, and artistic trim. one full bed, one queen bed plus queen futon in sleeping loft which is accessed by a steep ladder. Our kitchen is fully stocked! Microwave, coffee maker, and all the pots and pans for a holiday meal! Sleep to the sound of the adjacent creek. There is a streamside fire ring and a grill on the patio. Pets welcome!

Very cute cabin and beautiful stream. Watched an owl fly up and down the stream. It was very peaceful and relaxing. View through bedroom windows was beautful. We all had a wonderful time. Owner was very nice and responded quickly to questions prior to visit. Would book again.

Stay over in Gettysburg
We were Traveling to North Carolina from NH and spent two nights in this adorable cabin. So quant and comfortable. Great spot if you travel with dogs since it has a state park and conservation area within walking distance. Great spot on a small stream with a nice table and chairs. Small but well appointed kitchen and tons of towels and extra blankets. We loved it!

Great creekside older cabin
The cabin had sufficient space, a great location. One bed had an older mattress that was uncomfortable after one night so we slept in the other bed and lounged in the 1st bed. Many places that could use some sprucing up to refine this place (sheet rock or stucco cracks, kitchen counter, etc).

This rustic cabin is amazing!!! The stream out side the cabin is beautiful! It is in a great location for Gettysburg and everything around it. Six days of staying here wasn’t long enough!!!

We loved staying at the cabin. Pamela was very communicative so we knew exactly what to expect checking in. The stream in the back is so beautiful and the cabin is very cozy. You do get some road lights and car noises from the cabin being so close to the road.

Great cabin close to Michaux State Forest, PA
The cabin is in a great location. Close to lots of Hiking opportunities within 20 minute drive and also close to shopping, restaurants, etc (if needed). Sitting out back with a coffee and watching the stream roar by was definitely a plus! The cabin itself is showing some age and could have been a little cleaner upon arrival, but we enjoyed our stay and it is pet friendly.

My family loves this cabin.. it is so cozy and welcoming we have fallen in love with it and book annually. The creek right outside the windows adds to the picturesque setting. The hots have been absolutely amazing and available when needed for anything! Can’t wait until next year’s trip!

Not the Ideal Cabin
I booked this cabin due to its location to planned family events for the holiday weekend. The listing was missing some key details such as the cabin’s extremely close proximity to the road (literally walk outside and take about 4 steps and you’re on the road). It isn’t a busy road, but the noise from cars driving made for a sleepless night for my family. Additionally, the back screen doors seemed like they were ready to fall off after opening, the fire ring was nothing to write home about, and it was musty & dusty inside. My young one said “mommy there are cobwebs on the lights” - this was seen from the fan/light above dining room table. I’ve stayed at other cabins in areas like Vermont, along the creek so we were really looking forward to our stay here but we were very disappointed that we left a day early. We decided to bring our dog last minute and was told about a pet fee, but we felt leaving a day early and overpaying for this cabin was enough money wasted for the weekend.

Great Escape
This location was perfect for a sister getaway. We relaxed and baked Christmas cookies. We had plenty of room and lots of laughs. The only negative I have is the ability to lock the front door. I would suggest adding that tip to the check in instructions. We will most definitely be booking again, it’s the perfect halfway point. Thank you!! Rhonda

Plenty of everything in this nice little quirky cabin
Stayed the w/e in Nov. Caught the last little bit of fall and enjoyed listening to the stream on the back porch. Nice little fire pit for a bon fire to roast marshmallows. The cabin inside was very clean, beds comfortable and overall, well stocked. The owner is generous with towels, hand towels, soaps and a very well appointed kitchen. Furniture is comfortable and dining room table was very nice to have. The majority of the back of the cabin has windows to view the forest directly behind. Gettysburg was a short drive away and has lots of shops and restaurants. Took a walk on one of the trails in the State Forest, about 5 minutes away. We were impressed that we needed absolutely nothing that wasn’t provided and we truly enjoyed our time there. Thanks so much for having us!

Serene spot close to Gettysburg
This was a perfect spot to spend time with friends and such a beautiful property, especially in the fall. Close enough to Gettysburg that we could spend part of the day seeing the sites and be back in time for dinner and a campfire. We really enjoyed ourselves!

We enjoyed the cabin in the woods, close to gettysburg but far enough out gor peace and quiet. The house is a little close to the road which has little traffic. Interior is nicely laid out and stocked with everything you need.

Check in was a breeze. Stocked kitchen with Everything I needed- even the cinnamon I forgot! Comfortable beds- large dining room table with view of the stream. Hiked trails at Strawberry Hill, and another one right down the road. I LOVED the cabin (it is very close to the road- but that didn’t affect the tranquility one bit. I’m sure to go back again!

Wonderful Creekside Cabin
Just off the beaten path and perched on a mountain stream, Creekside Cabin is the perfect place to enjoy a Gettysburg vacation. The house is filled with unique artistic touches that make it a comfortable delight to unwind and enjoy the natural setting. A good selection of rainy day games, tv and internet, and lots of little things to discover help make the cabin cozy and inviting. Our two dogs travel everywhere with us, we all really enjoyed exploring the creek and the grounds that back up to Michaux State Forest. We had a wonderful time on our September visit, and now want to come back again in the spring. Thanks much, we love it here!

Peaceful, rustic cabin
This place was nice, we really enjoyed it. It's right on a creek by a huge state park so you're right in nature. The cabin sits directly next to the creek so you can wake up to the sights and sounds of of water and see rippling light reflected into your room. Very nice! It has everything you need and plenty of room, plus is close to Gettysburg, hiking, other towns, and more. That said, it is just far enough away that you feel truly private. The beds were comfortable, the water stayed hot, and the deck and firepit were well used and greatly appreciated. The only 2 things I had issue with were that the cabin is directly next to a road that people drive pretty fast on (not too busy, but busy enough). This made parking sometimes tough and I could see it being dangerous if you brought children. The house exterior could also use a bit of a clean up. A leaf blower, a rake, some spiderweb cleanup, and some instructions on the grill would do wonders. Otherwise, we had a great time and hope to come back someday, especially in the fall. Thank you!
