Cozy Cedar cabin in the woods. Large front relaxing porch, warm wood cathedral ceilings with a loft. Rustic décor. One Queen and one full size bed. We provide linens and towels. Full working kitchen, gas grill. Internet, enclosed parking. 3.5 miles from the I-77 and 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. 20 mins from the Blue Ridge Music center. Close to Crooked Creek wildlife management area, Hillsville, Galax and Mount Airy.

Well appointed, comfortable cabin
The thing that impressed us most about the cabin was how well the kitchen was appointed and the thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, herbs, spices and much more. The eggs, milk, bagels and Philly cheese provided for our breakfast was particularly appreciated. Everything else about the cabin was well up to standard. Unfortunately we only stayed one night so didn't get to enjoy the fire pit. Thank you, Michelle.

Perfect getaway
This is a perfect spot to getaway and enjoy some peace and beauty. The cabin was amazing from the moment we pulled into the driveway. They made the cabin feel welcoming....just like home. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We will return!

What new is there to say that hasn't been said...
Wow...I joked with Michelle, our host, that my experience here has spoiled any future rentals for me. I will forever be comparing them to Michelle's cabin. It is in a quiet spot, about 20 minutes from Mt. Airy, easy access to the New River Trail for bike-riding, more than fully stocked (light breakfast and snack items, eggs, OJ, butter, candy, teas, coffee, etc.), clean and cozy. I don't remember anyone else mentioning the water feature next to the fire pit. Another nice touch. Michelle was really quick to respond and had the place set up for us to walk in and feel like it's a second home. My dad and I stayed three nights and loved it. No question that I'll be checking for availability anytime I'm back in this area.

Very nice lodging. Slept better than home. Needed that! Early 60's couple for our first anniversary. Have a 12 y/o with special needs who is a great boy, just a lot of work. Enjoyed our time away immensely.

We loved the cabin. There were only two of us so we didn’t use the loft but love that it comes with a restroom upstairs as well. They had board games which we used, lovely coffee syrups, both Kuerig and drip coffee machines, lots of extra items for the guest including a fridge with the necessities. We had never been to a Vrbo with coffee syrups and a stocked fridge so we were amazed. Everything was perfect and we will absolutely visit again.

Beautiful cabin in the woods yet close to so much!
Loved the peace & quiet. The cabin was so clean, cozy & comfortable. The fireplace was so enjoyable & kept us warm. Lots of extras in the kitchen, including little snacks, (we loved the popcorn!) We even got a bottle of wine (it was our anniversary) & some breakfast food was much appreciated. The location is really perfect, being so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were able to visit Mabry Mill on the parkway, & Morrisette Winery during our stay. There really is much to do nearby, including Hanging Rock State Park, Pilot Mountain State Park, & Stone Mountain State Park, all within 30 minutes or so, in North Carolina. I can't say enough about this beautiful cabin!

Even though this property is called a "Rustic" Cedar Cabin, that only applies to the decor. The cabin is clean, quiet, comfortable and very well equipped. There was milk, juice, bread and eggs welcoming us in the fridge. There were coffee, tea and condiments. The bath was supplied with toiletry products of all sorts. The bed was comfortable, and we had no trouble with temperature control. We appreciated the notebook with suggestions for local food, activities, etc. The host seems to have attended to every detail. The setting was beautiful. Despite the remote location, we loved the cabin and may just have to find an excuse to return in the future!
