“Fun for all ages, our 3 year old loved the playground, the older kids spent all their time around the campfire. Plenty of beds and a very comfy couch for naps. The location was perfect for day trips to minocqua and Madeline island and we spotted so much wildlife in the area. ”

“We had the best time here. This cabin is so cute. The lake was warm and comfortable, and the hosts were great. The perfect place to spend a week and relax. The shower is quite small in height- I was nearly at the ceiling and I am 5'5 so be aware if you are tall! We truly had such an amazing time and really enjoyed the ability to go swim, kayak, canoe, or just stay inside and be cozy. We hope to come back! ”

“We spent a week with our family and the cabin was absolutely perfect! The weather was not the greatest lots of rain and storms, but we made the most of it. Caught plenty of fish right from the dock and also from our boat. Enough fish for two fish fry’s for 6 people. Skied, tubed and kayaked in between the rain. The view and water frontage can not be beat! The kids loved having their own space in the bunkhouse. Peggy was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. The only thing……

“The location of this property was best we have ever experienced on our annual vacation. The cabin was sufficient for what we needed, and the outdoor area made our week in the northwoods most enjoyable. The clear water and sandy beach were incredible and we very much enjoyed our stay!”

“We had an awesome stay at the cabin. The amenities were exactly as described. Our family enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock and on the lake all week. Only thing I would say is be prepared coming in, as the drive for anything is 25 minutes away. But overall we had a great stay and would come back!!”

“All kind of birds singing. Very peaceful. The owner was kind enough to spray for mosquitoes which helped slot. Tree branches, brush & logs in water made kayak/ rowboat access very difficult.”

“Not only is this a spacious house but the yard is extremely large and the lake is directly across the street. This house could easily sleep 10 to 12 people as there is a convertible chair in the upstairs Big bedroom, a huge sectional and side chairs with ottoman. The basement family rooms' couch is also a futon. My only disappointment were the basic supplies; refrigerator, it was completely empty (no butter, or condiments) no ice or ice maker in the freezer. I bought what I needed (including……

“Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus.”

“Clean, with great amenities for our fishing trip. Exactly as pictured and a good fit for our party of 6. Upstairs bathroom a big plus, tho water pressure limited showering up there. Responsive and helpful host. So glad we found this listing!Panfish aplenty in mid July.... Didn't see a bass or a muskie but did land a nice pike! ”
