    Private , secluded living space yet 3 minutes from Hubbards shopping mall.
    It has a terrific view of all of the Bay with the Atlantic Ocean opening. CHECK IN IS at 4 pm DUE TO NUMEROUS INQUIRIES. CHECK OUT IS NOW 11 AM TO ALLOW 3 HOURS FOR CLEANING BETWEEN GUESTS

Starting on the positive; property location to Hubbards center is great. There is a partial view of the water / sunrise and a fairly new, good sized deck. And if you are looking to sit inside all day and watch old DVD movies there are over a 1000 of them here. Unfortunately the grounds themselves are quite neglected. A good manacure needed.The rental?(22A&B) that is beside the property looks pretty unkept as well. The interior is very dark and dated. Too much of everything. The master bedroom is far too crowded with 5 dressers and a side table you cant even use. Decor is very uninviting, The layout is very disjointed with the lower 3 bedrooms in the basement with a very seperate closed door entrance. The vibe down there was creepy and my friends that were supposed to spend the night declined. Would not recommend this property as there are far better choices in the area.

House has a good lay-out for a family traveling with multiple generations or older children/teens with one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and three bedrooms and another bath in the basement. Location is great for traveling to different locations in NS. View from the deck was very enjoyable and it's very short drive to a small, pleasant beach.

Really great place:)

Went on vacation with my Aunt, Uncle as well as our kids and their girlfriends. The rooms were great, nice view, a half a block from the water! Very close to Oak Island and Peggy's Cove! We highly recommend!

Beautiful location and nice cottage by the ocean

Quite area on Fox point, walking distance to Fox Point beach and Kayak rentals. The house had a nice view of the ocean and equipped well for all your cooking needs. We spent alot of time on the big deck. Nice restaurants near by including lobster dinners. We loved our stay in Nova Scotia.

Great view

Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe.

The house is in a beautiful position and has amazing views. It is a comfortable size and plenty of equipment and little welcome features. I booked the property when it was described as two double beds in two rooms and two bedrooms with a double bed in each .This was perfect for us. That was not the case and we had to double up with people we would not usually sleep with. Also the leaving time was moved to 10 am and l especially wanted a property with 11 am. Only found this out when trying to find out when we leave where to put the key. The furniture is dirty and only 4 dining chairs one with a ripped seat. The downstairs bathroom had to be cleaned( l have photos) the shelves in upstairs bathroom had toothpaste on them. Fridge door and other areas very grubby If this property was clean and it would be wonderful. The beds were very clean and comfortable and clean thick towels.Thankyou. Sorry to be so negative but wish the owner success in the future.

It's a quiet and lovely place located right next to the ocean. There are bunch of nice little beaches and fishing spots nearby. The kitchen is fully equipped and the laundry facility is good. Overall we had a nice stay.

The property was excellent. The room were all clean. The kitchen and dining room were easy access. The bathrooms were clean too. You can see the Atlantic Ocean from the window bedroom and living room and from the deck. Love that there’s laundry room in the house too. My family loved fishing and there were government wharfs, and shores to catch different kinds of species of fish, within 5 km radius. The host left us with brochures of places to go and visit. This place is highly recommended.

The property was adequate for our needs. The host was quick to respond to our concerns but had not fixed problems that were existing before we got there, broken umbrella stand, deck chairs, no soap or shampoo in the basement washroom. He repaired the umbrella stand, took away the broken chairs and got rid of the ants quickly that turned up 2 or 3 days during our stay. The laundry was excellent, supplied us with coffee pods and numerous spices etc. Got the air conditioning working and was pleasant to deal with. He dealt with the pricing overcharge and we ended with a 15% reduction from the price first given to us by V RBO. Generally pleased with everything including the host.

Quick visit

The location was perfect for where we had to be. There was a stunning view of the ocean from the deck. I think this was my favorite part of the property. We were only there overnight but it suited us perfect for our needs.

Great location

The house is in an ideal location for day trips around St. Margaret’s and Mahone Bays - just 50 minutes from the airport. Host was quick to respond to my questions This is someone’s house - just as advertised. Definitely book the Shore Club in town (which doubles as a dance hall) for a traditional lobster dinner!
