  • Located forty five mins. from Halifax on the incomparable south shore of Nova Scotia this oceanside property is nestled in the heart of Northwest Cove .Watch the fishing boats head out and return with their day's catch. Rent a kayak (or a bike) or just walk to the nearby coves and beaches. Fish or snorkel from the dock. Have a bar-b-que and end the day by a crackling camp fire. Photographers, artists, beware ! Incredible location with views that don’t get old. Host was an excellent communicator and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. Will be back in the future!

Very friendly and responsive host; Gorgeous view in a fishing village; Dock available for fishing and kayaking (basic equipment supplied). To be improved: Kitchen utensils can be more organized; Some bedding linens are too old and worn eg bedsheets.

We had an amazing time! Kelly is a wonderful host and couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. He was a great support in pulling off this holiday as a surprise party for the birthday girl.

Amazing family get-away

Our family had an amazing vacation, we had everything we needed to make us feel at home. Included in our stay were adventures to Halifax, Peggy’s cove, Bayswater beach, the East River trail and Wolfville. Our host was amazing!

Annual Family cottage week.

Everyone enjoyed their stay at this property. The extra space was great for the 3 little great-grands especially.It was helpful to have the facilities to put them to bed and not disturb them and also to allow for most of the adults to sleep in a little in the mornings.Kelly was pleasant and reasonable to deal with.

Perfect east coast view

Such a great spot. Kelly is very knowledgeable and helpful! Great location and amenities offered! The house was very spacious. We had a group of 12 and fit comfortably!

Amazing property and amazing host!

A family member was getting married in Hubbards this weekend and we were her decorating crew so needed somewhere to stay. The house was perfect it slept all 13 of us (10 adults, 3 little kids), it was clean, well maintained and had absolutely stunning views. Kelly was absolutely wonderful to deal with, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful view

The view is spectacular and the house is wonderful. Well laid out house that accommodated our group of 7 ladies. Comfortable beds, lots of room to spread out and very well equipped. We had lots of fun and loved the setting and beautiful view.

Gotta Getaway

We had a wonderful relaxing time sitting on the amazing large deck overlooking the water. The weather was beautiful for May. The lobster boats bringing in their traps was an added bonus and provided our entertainment.
