“One of the main reasons that we rented this apartment was for the river view, which is clearly shown in several pictures in the listing for the unit, and is mentioned in many of the customer reviews. When we arrived and found that there is no river view at all (I’m guessing due to the new construction across the street), we were very upset and felt like we’d been misled. “If you enjoy a well restored classic, vintage place this is it. The location was perfect for walking. Close by are shops, dining, and attractions such as museums. The interior is very well done as that it kept all of the charm without sacrificing comfort. The kitchen is cozy with everything anyone could need to make a meal. A sitting room is a pleasant space to relax if traveling with other people. I told my husband I would buy this place in a heartbeat. A lovely experience.”

“The home was comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. We were traveling with our dog. The bare wood floors made it easy to keep things clean, especially as it was rainy while we were visiting the coast. The host was very welcoming and communications were excellent. We especially appreciated the easy check-in, check-out procedures.”

“This little cottage was perfect for my needs, as a place to take a break from a camping road trip. Shower, full size fridge with freezer (I freeze ice in big detergent jugs for camping and the freezer was big enough to refreeze three), comfy bed, quick walk to grocery store and several restaurants. Easy to find right off the main street through town. Very quiet at night.
You have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom which might be awkward for non-coupled friends traveling together.”
