There's nothing like unwinding by the water while you're on vacation. Take a picnic to Freshwater Lake and then stick around for a lovely sunset.
You'll have no end of sightseeing choices when spending time in Laudat. Freshwater Lake is a good place to begin here, but there are plenty of other worthwhile places to visit. Dominica Botanical Gardens, Morne Trois Pitons National Park, and Trafalgar Falls are near the body of water and and will cap off your day nicely.
