“Breakfast was included but rarely any choice.
If something ran out, it wasn't topped up. Had a boiled egg once in 6 days!
No air conditioning or fan in the room.
It was a small room with no air circulation in 34° heat, it was terrible.
The staff/owners couldn't speak English so I couldn't tell them the problems.
I would definitely not go back here or recommend it to anyone.
Worst stay in a long time.”

“Motel One Basel is a perfect location for anyone attending Christmas Markets as the lobby opened onto the Plaza where one of the Markets was staged.
Transportation on the tram line was just across the plaza so having no car was not a problem.
I arrived prior to check-in but the front desk is staffed around the clock and they stored my luggage until my room was ready. I would stay here again. ”
