Feel free to bring your boat along on vacation as there is a Hatteras Boat Ramp a little under 5 miles away and you can anchor off your point and walk in. You will love being only 5 minutes to the Billy Mitchell Airport, Ocracoke Ferry, and delicious restaurants like Hatteras Sol. Take a 10-minute ride and you will be at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse!
Windscape was designed to be functional and gorgeous inside and out. The chef in the family will love the open and well-appointed kitchen - with a kitchen bar, large dining table, and picnic table on the deck just outside. The deck offers both sun and shade lounging options, all with a breathtaking view. Under the home there's an outdoor shower and easy breezy access to the waterfront-surrounded backyard, and a storage area with hooks for your kite boards and other water equipment. When you're done with a day on the water, you can get sparkling clean in the outdoor shower or the spa-like shower by the game room. Then a spacious hot tub with a crystal-clear view of the sound awaits. Relaxing in the hot tub gives the appearance of an infinity pool with water in several directions. On the first level, there is a game room and a ping pong table, as well as a spacious full bathroom. A 240-volt plug is available for charging electric cars. A lighthouse stairway, with windows and ocean views, takes you to the second level consisting of four large bedrooms, sleeping 9, with broad decks and a hot tub with a million-dollar view.
The second level is built with comfort in mind. Each bedroom on this level is equipped with a TV and gorgeous water views. On this level you will find a soundfront King En Suite with a vaulted ceiling and deck access, a soundfront Queen En Suite w/ deck access, a Bedroom w/ twin bed and twin/twin bunk beds with ocean views, and a sound-view Two Twin Bedroom w/ soundfront deck access. Lastly, there is a full bath in the hallway.
On the third level, you will find the panoramic living area with water-surrounded views where you'll spend most of your time together. The lavish kitchen with a breakfast bar borders the dining area and looks out on two spacious and well-furnished living areas and a half bath, and game closet. An elevated living area overlooks the sound and is equipped with an excellent entertainment system, movies, and a telescope for birdwatching and stargazing. Step outside to the spacious wrap-around deck to read, play games, or just enjoy the view, with a variety of seating options, and picnic tables to have dinner with those breathtaking unobstructed views you cannot find anywhere else.
