“gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps.”

“Loved how clean and pet friendly the cabin was! It was a very cozy place and we especially enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and listening to the creek right next to us!”

“Robin (host) was very quick to respond to messages. This rental was very well stocked with all kitchen essentials. As someone who likes to cook when on a trip, this was a surprise. The knives were sharp, tons of silverware, plates, glasses etc. Beds were comfy. Fire pit got put to use every night we were there.”

There was no manual explaining: 1) The use of portable heaters or baseboard heaters2) Things to do upon entering or leaving2) Local attractions4) Emergency contact informationDid find a single sheet under the silverware tray in a drawer the next morning. It did contain a few of the above items.Dirty pancake turners, still had dried egg on them. We had to buy several pans and skillets because there……

“Very nice and right next to Smoke hole canyon. Only 3 small steps on the main bedroom floor to the kitchen and 2nd living room and bedroom for those who don’t navigate them well . 2 Additional bedrooms are upstairs and would stay again ”
