DO NOT STAY HERE. WE FOUND BED BUGS IN THE BED. We left shortly after checking in. The desk attendant said he doesn't know how to do refunds and his manager will do the refund when he got back in office. I called and was refused a refund.
This room was probably one of the worst rooms I have been in while traveling, and I travel a lot. Including overseas. The smell was absolutely atrocious. Everything in the room seemed damp. We went in the room, and could smell the room. I opened the door to try and let some of the smell out, and sat on the bed. The bed and chairs were all damp, like the room was moist. The shower had mold in it, and when I went to the front desk, they looked confused by what I was saying. I was also placed in a smoking room when I didn't want a smoking room.
I did cancel the room, and did not get my money back. I would have rather slept in the car that to stay at this location. I am normally not a complainer about these things, I write positive reviews, but this place was unsanitary, and the staff was not helpful at all.
The facility is older. The room was a nice size. The street noise was terrible. There was noise from the room above was bad and continued most of the night. Police were visiting the person in the room above us and the spoke w us as we were leaving and suggested that if we visited Gadsden again to stay in a different part of town
The people was nice... honestly u get what u get but the stairs and upper level was sketchy... when i got in my room there was a half drinkin 2 liter coke behind the night stand... the tub was kindy nasty with some hair and dirt marks on the sides and bottom.....

Typical budget motel
This is your typical budget motel. It’s old, but in relatively functional condition. The ice machine was not working, but the owner said he could give us a small amount from his freezer. When I went for ice later, the lady acted as if I asked for her kidney.
