“Usually cozy means cramped, but this was far from it. This place had all the amenities of a one bedroom apartment but everything was so efficiently laid out I never felt cramped. The owner is a builder and everything was well built and designed. I probably never would’ve booked it had it not been for another listing falling through the week before my trip, so this was a last minute “I’ll take anything with a roof” situation. “The mattress in the upstairs bedroom was pretty bad. The listing showed bunk beds but they're really too loft beds which are impossible for an adult to get into and difficult for a child to climb up and appears to be very unsafe. Bathtubs were very slippery with no mats or grip or grab bars.When we used the washer and clothes dryer, we discovered the lint trap in the dryer appears to have not been cleaned out in a very long time and looks to be a fire hazard.Overall though house was clean,……

The property exceeded our expectations — the house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay. “A group of six of us were in the area for a wedding. This location really worked well for us. Very easy to get around Palmer and Wasilla. Quiet location and clean accommodations. We even took a short drive up to Talkeetna for lunch hoping we’d see Denali. Clouds did not cooperate, but lunch was good. We also drove up to Hatcher’s Pass.”
