"The rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The towels, however, were a little old and could probably use replacing.
The TV satellite channels could also be reviewed, as it would be nice to have more working international channels available.
One point that should be clarified on Expedia is the spa. The listing mentions that the hotel has a spa, but there is actually no spa facility on-site. You can, however, contact reception and request a massage service, and a masseuse can be arranged for one hour at a cost of around 900 GHC. which is almost double what you will pay if you order the same service by yourself from any nearby Spa.
The restaurant waitresses were very friendly, welcoming, and pleasant throughout my stay.
There was also a movie night by the pool on Thursday, which was a nice touch. I would personally suggest showing comedy or lighter movies in the evening rather than thriller or horror movies, especially before bedtime.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would happily come back again"
"The good: The hotel was clean and well equipped in the rooms.
The staff were as welcoming as any staff in Ghana, they were polite and helpful. The porter taking our bags to the rooms was lovely and cheerful. When British Airways cancelled our flight at short notice the staff were very helpful extending our stay.
The breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of choice.
Shuttle from/to the airport was good.
The not quite so good: The beds were as hard as boards.
We were a group of 4 friends travelling together, we booked 2 twin rooms, but our rooms were in separate wings of the hotel. There were a few places we could sit together along the corridors, a small cafe and a noisy roof-top bar.
The pool was filled with children having a swimming lesson, so too busy for us to swim when we wanted to.
We did try the restaurant on the first evening, our meals came at different times with 1 meal taking an hour from us ordering it, the food was okay."
"Very well located in an affluent part of Accra, yet close to most amenities. Staff are very nice and do everything to please the guest. I highly recommend this hotel."
"It was very expensive for what was offered. The first room they offered me was mildewed and dirty. The second room at least didn’t have a horrible stench but was just so-so. For 400 a night I was expecting better service. Check in was slow and my daughter and I were the only people using the pool and they still wouldn’t give us an extra towel when we asked. Also- I had a notarized note to be able to travel with my daughter solo because my spouse had to work. The hotel still wanted a letter specific for their hotel and a copy of her birth certificate. I had never heard of that but they originally said there was no way we could stay on the property and they wanted to send us away at 7 o’clock to try and find a new place. This is after having booked a room at 400 USD a night for 5 nights. So overall my experience wasn’t great but my daughter loved the pool and the breakfast buffet was nice and the service there was excellent."
