"The Hotel Annapurna View Sarangkot is a beautiful place to escape to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. "A Terrible Experience I had an incredibly disappointing stay at Harness Resort, which I booked through Expedia for two nights in their top-tier Deluxe Suite. From the moment we arrived, the service was terrible. The resort staff didn’t even know we had booked the Deluxe Suite. The manager had to make a call to confirm our reservation instead of welcoming us properly. The receptionist gave us an unwelcome look, making us feel like we didn’t belong, despite paying for the best room. The resort seemed to cater more to political party gatherings than to regular guests. During our stay, there was a loud and crowded seminar, which ruined the peace and quiet we expected. We were disturbed multiple times by loud knocks late at night, which felt unsafe and scary. The food was another major letdown. I was particularly dissatisfied with their Chicken Shank. The idea of chicken gravy over mashed potatoes and fried rice with old cabbage on top was bizarre and unappetizing. The quality was far below what I expected for the price we paid. On the day of checkout, I asked for the bill, only to be given a copy that still included the room charges, even though I had already paid online. I had to explain this again, highlighting their poor customer service. Despite seeing many good reviews, my experience was awful."

"We stayed here for a day coming back from Poonhill and it was one of best experience we had in Sarangkot. View from deluxe room was spectacular with mountain view from one side and city view from other. And we watched sunrise from our bed itsellf and wow what a great time it was with red sun and mountains on the side. Also it is few minutes from Sarangkot view tower where we went for some for experience of city view. Breakfast was very nice and we also had dinner and had one of best Chicken Chilli and some local momo. Rooms are also very clean and well maintained. Only thing I can recommend that can improve is for front desk can be little better in communication, but can understand they can be busy as mostly it is more like family run business and they can be busy. Overall I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get out of busy lakeside area and enjoy quiet and natural views of mountains to stay here and feel like home staying here."
