"It’s hard to accurately describe how wonderful Livia’s Villa is, so I’ll offer this comment from a friend who arrived first: “It’s like stepping into a dream.” 15 of us traveled from the US and a few points in Amsterdam to celebrate my husband’s birthday. No one wanted to leave.The property is gorgeous, Livia is an exceptional host, the town and many amenities are close by, and Nonna Maria’s dinner on the first night was wonderful. Mitte September war es sehr ruhig dort. Leider kein Supermarkt in der Nähe, sodass man mit dem Auto einkaufen gehen muss. "

"Extremely noisy. The live “animation “ outdoor, family friendly entertainment went until 1:00 EVERY night. Price was extra for AC, breakfast, and mandatory fee for beach and pool. Needs to be explained better in description. This is ideal for the family vacation since it is not near any public transportation so must have a rental car to see any of Sicily, but most families stay all day, all night. Not for the travelers who want to explore the island."

"A small hotel in an excellent location in the centre of Sciacca. The hotel was pristine and maintained to an exceptionally high standard by the justly proud proprietor. We were made very welcome by all the staff and had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was spacious and quiet with very comfortable beds. The air-conditioning was quiet but very effective. There was also access to a spacious rooftop terrace. Breakfast each day was superb with an excellent selection of fresh bakery pastries, cold meats, fruit and freshly made coffee. Parking is available in the street, you just need to check which sections are all day parking. There is also a shuttle service to nearby beach which was good for swimming, with a good beach bar and sunloungers. We stayed for four nights but wished it were longer. Recommended without reservation."
