Also, the so-called “free shuttles” are so infrequent that they are almost useless. There are only a handful that head into town and they end at 4:45pm. "This a beautiful 1930’s Art Deco villa, tastefully decorated and well situated in a lush garden. Location is very good as it is in the middle of the eastern side of Basse-Terre, twenty minutes by car from Point-a-Pitre. There is a bus, but you would probably need a rental car. Super hosts Emmanuel and Rahba provided extra’s over what was needed and were excellent company. Simply the perfect stay. "
