“The appearance of the hotel, including the breakfast dining area, and my room is rustic (in a nice way) and tasteful. There are, however, a number of issues, detailed below.
The city is doing its best to rebuild the area around the hotel, and the loss in property due to the earthquake appears to be substantial and people have suffered greatly. The roads on Google Map do not reflect that a lot of the roads are out of commission and passable only to heavy construction vehicles.
