My stay at Hotel Riu in Times Square was nothing short of fantastic! The location couldn't be better, situated right in the heart of the bustling Times Square and Restaurant Row. It's the perfect base for exploring the city, with easy access to numerous attractions, shops, and dining options. The staff at Hotel Riu were incredibly friendly and accommodating. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant, and they were always willing to assist with any request. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch to my experience. The rooms were well-appointed, spacious, and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a busy day in the city. The modern decor blended perfectly with the vibrant atmosphere outside. Service throughout the hotel was impeccable, with prompt responses to any needs and a welcoming ambiance that made me feel right at home. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Riu for anyone looking to enjoy the energy of Times Square while experiencing top-notch hospitality. I would definitely stay there again during my next trip to NYC!

The hotel possessed all of the old world charm I was hoping to find which of course also included the lack of modern amenities such as a coffee pot in each room. Do know that this was a minor inconvenience as there are two coffee shops immediately adjacent to the property. The rooftop bar with its access to the outdoors was charming as well. Unfortunately, we did experience a rather rude manager on duty (throughout our stay) and I got to witness him in action several times - he could surely use more training on how to deal with the pressures of running a front office staff. As a stand alone the staff members were great however with the manager on the floor everyone, including the guests, were uncomfortable. Would I stay there again?? Yes I would as I thought it offered great accessibility to Central Park, Fifth Avenue, the subway, Lincoln Center and The Big Red Bus tours.
