VERY disappointed in the pool area. The pool room was very cold, too cold to be in there and swim. We had booked this as a birthday treat for our grandson to be able to swim and were unable to do so at all. Their amenities need to include a disclaimer to let people know. Paid $200 for a weekend stay but didn't get what we paid for. Very, very disappointing. It was poorly managed and prepared for. People waited 7 hours for a room or canceled; while others only waited 5 minutes. It took 2 hours to get us into a room as it was not cleaned. Got in the room and it had hair all over the bathroom and the floor was not vacuumed. Our group did not have any of the rooms cleaned by 3 pm. It was extremely frustrating since the rooms had been booked for over a month. The hotel knew it was going to be a busy weekend. Also all we got was an I’m sorry about your weight. Nothing else. And when I went to go ask for a late checkout, they were already at their max. Honestly, I didn’t see anyone that came in to check in while we were waiting, got their room. Many families in our group had to wait hours after the check in time to access their rooms, some rooms weren’t adequately cleaned once they did get them, and the front desk attendant turned off the lobby tv in the middle of the World Series Game 7 and told everyone to go to bed, just to name the most egregious of issues. We were in town for a youth football tournament which brought several youth teams and their families to town. While I’m sure this maxed out the hotel capacity and may not be the typical hotel guests, it did create strong business for the hotel and town for the weekend. The choice of hotels in Harrison is limited, but if we return to this tournament next year, we will seek another hotel experience.
