"From check in to check out the staff were so kind and helpful! It felt like they were welcoming you to their home! We were so impressed by the pools, large and fluffy towels, and the best view!! We stayed at Cliffside and are already planning our next trip back with our kids! It was nice to have pools that were adults only and others that welcomed kids. I had the best massage with Sarah and was very impressed by the spa locker rooms. Very updated! There is also a gas station and general store on property which was very helpful. We would recommend this to everyone!"

"The River Inn is an older property that could definitely benefit from updates and improvements. While the accommodations themselves were fairly average, what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible staff. The two ladies working during our stay were genuinely kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their positive attitudes, friendliness, and willingness to help turned what could have been an ordinary stay into a pleasant experience. Customer service like theirs is becoming harder to find, and they deserve recognition for the care they showed us. They are the reason we're giving this property three stars instead of fewer. If the facility received the same level of investment as the people working there, this could become a fantastic place to stay. Thank you to those two wonderful ladies for making us feel welcome."

"We, a group of 70-somethings, were given rooms on the second floor with no elevators. Would have been thoughtful to give us ground floor rooms so that we wouldn't need to lug our luggage and other things for five days up the stairs. One of our group had to take the stairs one at a time. The pool was almost unusable because it had so much chlorine. The housekeepers were excellent for us but lousy for our relatives across from us."
