“This season is quite warm and we went to Breck because there wasn’t really any snow. I thought BRR would be a safe Breck staple, but it was a tough go. It wasn’t necessarily run down, but obviously not what it was meant to be; lackluster. It was just kind of at every turn there was something that showed this. “Frequently stay in the Fairplay area for work and the Hand hotel has been by far the most enjoyable place to stay. The other option (Riverside Inn) has always been extremely noisy and the staff don't seem to care much about customer concerns. The Hand hotel staff were excellent and it was convenient having the cafe down-stairs... just be aware it isn't open every morning, but there are other options close by. It is a historic building so keep that in mind when booking.”
