Best trip ever!

I have visited Helen NUMEROUS times and this was my best stay yet! The cabin is just as beautiful as in the pictures and so so clean! The property was perfect! Super close to Helen but still secluded and you have your privacy. 10/10 recommend!

Comfy Stay Close to Helen

Easy check-in and great directions provided. Would suggest you drive in for the first time before it gets dark. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Was able to accommodate our group with one us using a walking boot and walker. Easy drive to Helen and the surrounding views/trails.

Batter than Expected. Would stay again.

Really a great cabin. Location was private-lots of deer :) Excellent communication from hosts. The cabin really was clean. It had everything you needed. What a great family trip. Thank you.

Great stay. Cabin was well stocked and beautifully decorated

Cabin was very well organized and very nice. Great directions to find . Beds very comfortable. Beautiful fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Large hot tub on back porch and four rockers in front porch. Very quiet and lovely view . Washer and dryer was a nice surprise.

All around great spot

Cozy Cabin!

The location was just what we wanted…secluded but close to downtown Helen. The cabin was clean and just as presented online. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. We had firewood delivered and made s’more’s by the outdoor fire pit. It was a great getaway to celebrate family birthdays.

Relaxing, secluded, clean

Our stay was enjoyed by all. Clean, quiet, everything worked. Wooded scenery, beverages on the deck. Close to Helen and other towns, lots to activities in the area. Would recommend to friends and family

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Hoo's Their Hide-Away, the cabin is amazing and clean. The landscaping is beautiful and we even saw a bear on 2 different occasions, it was amazing. The location is great also, only 5 min to Unicoi State Park and 15 min to Helen, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cant wait to go back, my boys want a pool table now, lol.

Great relaxing getaway 30yr anniversary.!!!

We really needed a peaceful a peaceful stay. We loved Helen and the fudge. Come back to the cabin eat the goodies. We didn't get to make s'mores at the fire pit. We will come back too.

Exactly what we wanted

Cute and Charming! Very relaxing place and peaceful. The set up inside the cabin was so thoughtful. Easy check in and out. Is clean and the hot tub was already set and waiting for us...that definitely put a smile on my face. The cabin is very close to the places and activities we wanted to go visit and do. We are grateful!

Secluded and Near Helen & Falls

We enjoyed our stay at the Hoo's There Hideaway. Very nice king bed, living room, large kitchen and convenient Jacuzzi on back deck. Conveniently located 3 miles from Helen. Brasstown Bald and Tallulah Falls within 45 minute drive. Anna Ruby Falls about a 20 minute drive. Property management responsive to requests for help, except had to wait until next day for mouse traps. Bottom rack of dishwasher is missing rollers on right side. Reported to property management. Apparently not possible to fix during our 5 night visit.

A quiet stay in the woods

Our young family really enjoyed our stay at Hoo's There Hideaway. The house was very clean and spacious. The kids loved the hot tub and pool table and enjoyed their room together. The house is located about half a mile down a gravel road, so the area around the cabin was very quiet. We saw tons of birds, including several turkeys! The cabin is only 10 minutes from Helen and very close to Unicoi, so it was easy for us to go into town for meals or drive to the trails. Would definitely stay here in the future!

We loved the cabin. There were a couple of minor problems. The hair dryer plug was broken. Stools at the pool table very unstable legs. There were some crumbs and popcorn under the couch cushions. We loved the area. saw some dear. Had fun playing pool. Enjoyed the quiet surroundings. We would definitely come back. Thank you Margaret

Cozy and Beautiful

We had a wonderful kickoff to our Christmas holiday at this cabin. It came with all the kitchen appliances we needed for our stay. All we did was bring the food. We had a pool table upstairs that entertained us, a hot tub on the back porch that was therapeutic for our arthritis, and all the rooms had smart TVs so we could cast, air drop, and stream as we pleased. We brought our firewood and logs for the fireplace. The atmosphere was radiant. I highly recommend this cozy spot for a nice, relaxing vacation. We will book again in the future.

Best Kept Secret

This cabin is secluded in the woods and just mins to downtown Helen. When we pulled in the cabin had Christmas lights on and a tree in the window. We walked in and Christmas music was playing on the TV. It was so inviting as if it was our own home. We ordered the firewood package and it was place on the front porch. The fire place inside works great and is very easy to use. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal. Beds were super comfortable and the space was perfect for what we needed. The hot tub was very clean and we enjoyed it after our walks in Helen. I wish I could give this property 10 stars!!! Beautiful and Stunning. We will be sure to book here again!

Delightful cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at Hoo’s There Hideaway so much! The cabin is wonderful; a rustic feel but with a modern kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and the house was very clean. The showers had good pressure with plenty of hot water, which we always appreciate. The hot tub, pool table and supply of games made the stay even better. A couple of things to note; the cabin is definitely remote! It is one of the things that makes it so nice and peaceful, but we were surprised at how long it took us to get to the house from the main road. It wasn’t a problem, but might not be for everyone if you’re wanting to be able to go back and forth to Helen frequently. The other thing to note is that the wood plank floors are very authentic, which also meant very creaky. It adds to the charm, but also meant that once the first person was awake in the house, everyone else was awake too from the squeaky floors. We would definitely stay again and loved it, but just some things to note if you have young children.
