"Our stay was incredible! When we arrived, there was a bit of a snafu and no one was there. I called the number on the booking and the owner (I am assuming) apologized and said she had sent an email asking when we would be arriving (I had missed the email). She said they had actually closed the lodge for the season a few days prior, but because of a mix up with Expedia, our reservation snuck through. She sent someone to unlock the lodge for us within minutes, and then Lillia showed up shortly...

"We had 2 emails before we arrived, one from Heimleiga CS and one from Godo Property. Each assigned us a different room and key box codes. This was very confusing. The apartment was clean and new. Not a grain of salt or coffee on the premises so you need to take all the basics or else buy locally. Good blackout curtains and quiet at night. "We loved our remote cabin which overlooked the volcanic glacier and the glass design meant the sun streamed in. The beds were super comfortable and there was a small amount of tea and coffee available. The bedroom and shower worked very well. We found the cabin very handy to travel into the next village for food and took several trips out in the car around the waterfalls and hot springs. The farm is along a well maintained gravel road from the main highway. The owner was very helpful by E Mail as the weather caused several roads to close further east. In the end they reopened allowed us to continue our travels. Highly recommended "
