What a hidden gem! The 20 minute drive over rocky terrain is worth every second. The pastoral landscape is gorgeous. Driving through (very shallow) streams just adds to the adventure. Tau House is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for warm and relaxing vacation. My husband and I had an amazing time here. We spent 5 days, and we wished we could've extended our stay. This is the first vacation where we truly felt relaxed and rejuvenated. The decor of Tau House is warm and inviting. The color scheme aids in providing a relaxing environment. Our bedroom was so clean and spacious. I love that the king size bed is actually a king size bed and not two beds pushed together. The closet area of the clothes is more than enough to hang everything up. The special touch of providing robes and slippers really made me fall in love with this place from the start. The food is exceptional! We opted to have most of our meals here because they were that good. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and they offered a healthy menu that allowed for my husband and I to stay on track. All the meals are balanced between carbs, fats and proteins. We ate dinner here most nights, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy a quiet evening and then go to our room. The staff is absolutely amazing. They were beyond welcoming and accommodating. Everyone was so friendly. They offered us so many different things to do around Medellin and Guatape. We cannot wait to come back!
