It was a last-minute booking, and Lawrence was kind enough to open up the reservation for us so we could book for the same—which we truly appreciated.Overall, we had a really great experience. We did run into a couple of small hiccups when we first arrived, but as soon as we reached out, Lawrence came right over and took care of everything. He’s a great host—very responsive, helpful, and open to suggestions.The neighborhood felt a little sketchy at first glance, but once we were inside the gated area, we realized we were completely safe and comfortable. Now, just a fun heads-up: there’s a rooster in the neighborhood who will absolutely wake you up in the morning. If you don’t have an alarm, he’ll make sure you’re up and ready for your day—and he’ll even come out and greet you in the street as well!Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality. The home was clean and cozy. The host was nice and very responsive. My family loved the photo wall. We were in town for the Texans game and it was a short drive to the stadium. The only negative is the neignbors kept us up late with loud music and fireworks. It was Christmas Eve so I understand the celebration but it made for a long, restless night.
