“This is a little gem in the heart of a village Highly recommend to everybody, restaurants pubs shop and beach all within minutes of the cottage’s property was spotless clean and lovely and warm , met the family over the course of four days all very nice with plenty of smiles every time you see them Very dog friendly with many lovely walks around the area”

“Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. Most days began with a coffee overlooking the lake, watching the sunrise and the cloud disperse. Beautiful walks from the doorstep and of course a lot of kayaking right from the door. The water levels were incredibly high when we arrived so couldn't make the best use of the launches as we have in the past but enjoyed a trip later in the week. The footpath……

Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about. “Our five nights in swallows lodge was the perfect location for a hiking trip in the hills around Keswick , you can walk out of the front door and on to a footpath in more or less any direction, swallows lodge, has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and two good bathrooms, and a lounge/ living room area to put your feet up in, only a bookcase with local interests was missing. From the large window there is a lovely view complimented by rabbits hopping around the garden, for those who……
