"Relaxed 24h in March. Lots of families here, but 28 deg c but still quiet at the pool. I as a westerner enjoyed my meals outdoors while it was as typically quite loud inside the restaurant. Both Chinese and western food. The western food was good. Room was huge with a softer than typically Chinese beds, good for me. Nice balcony with a sunbed. Very friendly staff and you could always find someone who spoke English."

"Last time I came to Huizhou, i stayed in Renaissance hotel. The price is about the same, actually Renaissance is better. But a good thing about Kande is that you can browse google using the wifi here. maybe there is automatic VPN or something. It is very convenient for business traveler. "

"The receptionist didn't understand English and completely ignored me even though I'm the one, who booked/paid for the room. Positives: stunning views from the room, very quiet, large room, comfortable bed, nice grounds overall, pool and beautifully designed hot springs that Hilton guests can use. Negatives: run down facilities (that's nothing to do with the closed ones due to regulations, I get that), rubbish laying around the grounds with some hazardous spots,hardly any Western options for...

"For $50-60 this is just a fine hotel. This is typical Chinese hotel, looks very nice, grounds outside are nice. It's not super updated but it's ok. English is not their strong point. Gym is not good but is good enough to get a work-out. Breakfast also fine but not strong on Western food, although they do have it. This is not a 5 star but if you get upgraded room for $109 it is quite nice. Make sure you request the most non-smoking room if you don't want your room to smell like...
