Quirky, older motel that was renovated but intentionally kept in a 1960's retro style. This shows in details like the exposed (LED) light bulbs, peg board cabinetry, curtains sewed from surplus wool blankets, and bathroom.
That's not to say anything was worn or in poor condition. Just don't expect everything to be brand new and shiny.

Staff were friendly and the room was spacious and modern. Unfortunately, the standard of servicing in the rooms was poor. I also hoped for better views for the price per night.
