The hotel is a bit old, but it offers a wonderful view of the lake. Unfortunately, there might be some cleanliness issues. Overall, the location and the view from the windows are the hotel’s main advantages, but it could benefit from more careful maintenance and attention to cleanliness.

We stay at the Pinedale three times a year. We really enjoy it. It’s quiet, has incredible views from every room. It’s nice to have a full sized fridge and stove. It has a balcony and it’s close to downtown Gravenhurst. The outdoor pool is very nice and the staff are always friendly.

Efficiency inn - very family friendly with beautiful pool and basketball net. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Not far down the road is a beautiful beach where the kids loved to swim and where the city occasionally puts on evening concerts. Close to town for shopping and to the dock where you can go on a cruise, dine in average or high end restaurants or just get a great ice cream cone.

I stayed 2 nights at The Pinedale Inn as I was in the area officiating a wedding. From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The grounds and rooms are very well maintained. With a room overlooking the water, we happily sat outside on the deck to enjoy the view. Walking into the room, you could smell the cleanliness. Everything was immaculate and clean. There was also a refrigerator, stove, oven and kitchen sink for those who bring their own food. It is located close to the downtown core of Gravenhurst where many restaurants and shops are located. I highly recommend this place to stay for one or several nights.

Second stay here. Everything is accessible. Full kitchen is a plus. Nice balcony overlooking the lake. Will stay again and again. Owners are hands on. Could use a light for the staircase going down to the lake. Only con.

Clean, affordable, on a beautiful location right on a lake with access to safe lake swimming and a pool. So nice to have the kitchen. Linens were clean and new. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Very enjoyable stay.

It was very comfortable in a nature setting ...we especially loved the setting on lake Muskoka where we looked over Lake Muskoka ...the heated pool was a lovely addition after the Lake swim ...the kitchenette was well stocked and the beds and bedding were fabulous.

We had a great time at Pinedale Inn. The property had been well cared for, the rooms were clean and well stocked and the pool was perfect. The dock area was great for some shore fishing and there is a nice play ground for kids. The bbq’s were clean and new. We will be back!
