"I can say it is cheating customer simply. I booked a expensive family room for 1 night, but when I reached to hotel they said no rooms available and he said it's mistake from hotels.com website do not to accept bookings. I booked 5 days before and they confirmed by mail and message and charged onspot on booking by online. I booked it because it's it's very near to beach but they took me a different rooms where refurbishing 3-4 rooms which was bad smell, no bathrooms, no drinking water, no WiFi...
"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.

"We absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds really comfortable. It could do with an update and refurb in certain areas but this doesn't affect the quality of the stay. The staff are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. It's location is perfect as it's close to South pier, a tram stop, shops and the pleasure beach. We will be making further bookings in the future."
"Nobody on site so no access to bar no breakfast tbf they sent someone to let us check in early but charged to park car overnight,comfy beds big bath and netflix on so sort of ok "
"For the price is a good hotel but is not family hotel there was no lift and we were placed at the 4th floor as family of 4 with a baby. The room was small the bunk bed was shaky there was no toilet paper at the bathroom no hot water and the whole stay was kind of terrible the manager was making out on the stairs with his girl and the day we left there was a fight as we seen blood everywhere in the lobby so yeah not the safest place for families with kids "

"The double bed was noisy and shaky with any shift or movement felt, probably needs tightening the bolts/nuts. One single bunk bed (bottom) mattress was uncomfortable, probably springs are finished. Shower is very tiny. Service was great though, and breakfast was great as well. "
