“Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.”

“I booked and prepaid for a double room with en-suite. Upon arrival, when they saw I was alone, I was moved to a single room with restroom down the hall and downstairs. I am a 65 y/o woman, traveling alone. I need a bathroom at night. None of the sinks worked, except for the one downstairs powderoom. If I needed water for the kettle or wash my hands after toilet-down the stairs I went. This is not a lodge, it is someone’s home. I was very uncomfortable. WiFi worked as did the TV. No……

“Nice fresh room with good size comfortable bed but very small shower room. The facilities are good and there is a car park at extra charge. Very central for Sligo. We did eat in the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar ( barman could have a little training in customer service nothing bad but a little blunt). I would recommend and will stay again. ”
