"We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Elkstone. The cabin itself is beautiful - very clean and comfortable for 2 families. We encountered next to no hiccups, but when needed, the owner was very quick to respond to email. The location of the cabin is great - close enough to but far enough from Eagle River. The setting is lovely - very private and serene. We rented a pontoon boat from the Maple View Resort - about a mile away - which guaranteed us access to Pioneer Lake. To get to the...

"The cabin on the lake is amazing. Very quiet and relaxing and the cabin has all the comforts of home. The owners were tremendously helpful and went out of their way to answer all of our questions before and during our stay! Our family of five caught plenty of fish, saw wild life, swam in the lake and relaxed. The location is perfect for day trips to other areas of the U.P. As well. Thanks Dave and Nancy for making our stay so great!"
