Isla Colon Vacation Rentals

My stay at the Lodge at Punta Rica was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations I have ever had. Nestled on a hilltop on Bastimentos Island and overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the lodge was a peaceful haven of tranquility, beauty, and relaxation—exactly what I needed after a hectic and stressful season of life. The hotel staff met me at the airport and transported me by boat to Bastimentos Island, a short 20-minute ride from Bocas del Toro Isla Colón. Brian and Dan, the owners of the...

A Magical Rainforest Escape – Highly Recommended! We absolutely loved our stay at Ataraxia eco lodge! The property is run by a very nice couple who make you feel incredibly welcome from the moment you arrive. It is beautifully located right in the rainforest, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in nature. During our stay, we loved watching monkeys playing, spotting sloths, and seeing a variety of beautiful tropical birds right from the property. The food was another major highlight. The...

Alan, the owner of the property was so very helpful during our entire stay. He always took the time to talk with us about the activities available and how to arrange. This property is within walking distance to everything we needed. His staff is friendly and the breakfast was always very good. This property was always clean. I would highly recommend Lulas! The guests were from all over the world and we found everyone to be very friendly. There is a nice area upstairs right outside of the rooms...

Great place in a little paradise with the perfect beach front location. A place to slow down, recharge and rest. One of those places you will come back again and again. Operated by the owners in a very family way, making you feel like home

Amazing staff, felt like home!

The staff is very helpful and attentive, the hotel is beautiful, sparkling clean and the garden is lush. I need to mention that entry with a vehicle can be be difficult because the gate can be opened only from the reception and if no one is available, there is just no way to open it. And it is a longish walk from the gate to the hotel, which we had to do under pouring rain to get to our taxi outside. Other than that, the stay was amazing and even better than expected for the price. Honestly...

Great host. Only thing is, lots of construction/neighbor noise around the property

The experience since the arrival was spectacular. The location, the service, the food experience. We are a family of 4, 3 surfers and 1 non-surfer, and all of us had a great time. The spa was a great experience as well for us 4. There are several options for day-trips that can be arranged at the front desk.

What a great adventure to Bocas del Toro and a fabulous stay at the hotel Tropical Suites! From the moment we stepped in the door and saw the Ocean Sparkling in the background, we fell in love with our hotel and vacation locale. Tropical Suites is a lovely, boutique-sized hotel with a staff that continually went out of their way to be a resource to each of our many questions. The rooms were as comfortable as they were spotless, and we enjoyed the “luxury” amenities found in the room (e.g.,...

We had a terrific time!

Great location. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast.

The owner Thomas is a caring person who goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your stay at his accommodation as well as the island

Perfect location, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend

Todo muy bien

great location, right on beach; room and bathroom were clean; hot water steady; good wi-fi (connect to the many SSIDs on the property); the restaurant has one of the best food we had in Bocas; the area get very crowded during the day with day trippers and Instagrammers; if you are staying overnight, just wait until ~4/5 PM - you'll have the place to yourself; walk to starfish beach is and other small beach spots around the area; note: laundry is $8 and not self-serve or free as advertised; the...

Bambuda is exceptional! From the moment you enter the property, the décor amazes you. From the fantastic wall art to all the wooden fixtures and furniture, everything is designed to impress. Check-In was a breeze and though there was no hot water in the newer section of the building, I didn't miss it because the water was room temperature. The private rooms are beautifully appointed with breathtaking views of the ocean. I loved that the hand and body wash in the bathroom are eco-friendly. In...

Perfect spot to relax, swim out your back door and get away from it all. Really unique facilities. Great snorkeling - out your back door. Would love to come back. Nothing to complain about!

What an amazing place to stay in Bocas del Toro. The hut was pristine and really comfortable. Try to request a water front lodge (there are 6 in total) but the front two are right on the water front but the sunsets either way are insane. The staff we dealt with were so friendly and helpful plus they did laundry for us in one hour for $10 per load. Be aware that this property is about 20 minutes walk from the main area for restaurants etc and you have to walk between locals’ houses to get the...

This place was perfect. I walked into town and beach every day. They have a fully functional outdoor community kitchen which is perfect for families. A family cooked there every day and I made smoothies. It was very clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful. Will be back.
