“Great location and lovely views. However the Lodge felt very dated and needs modernising. Small rips and stains in the curtains, decor faded, mattresses hard and uncomfortable. Staff were OK, our email confirmation said check in at 3pm but when we got there the receptionist said 4pm. They had an event on the Sunday evening and we could still hear loud music at 11pm”

“Excellent situation; amazing hosts- extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating- beautiful and safe areas for children to play. The outside gazebo/ eating area was fabulous along with the pizza oven. Swimming pool and hot tubs were a hit - the cottages were clean and cosy and well equipped - would highly recommend from the booking to the goodbyes and everything in between ”
