“We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there……

“Hosts not responsive. Toilets were not clean, Almost every day we had visits f.e. One day to measure curtains. Very few glasses in the house. The thermos for hot water was switched off, we had to switch it on. The location was quite good in a safe condo. The house was good but strange there is no bathroom downstairs.”
