The Quivertree Forest is a beautiful place in Namibia.
In my opinion, the best place to see it is not at the quivertree forest rest camp, but in another camp about 15km north of Keetmanshoop, along the B1 road.
There are these beautiful trees, along with naturally square rocks, which makes this landscape quite surreal !

Namibia is one of the few countries in Africa where it is safe and easy to rent a car and drive by yourself. We had our epic #roadtrip in 2012/13 and loved it. We are going back for sure! Fish River is the second biggest canyon in the world, after Grand Canyon in the US. This is on the way down to the canyon.

Driving back from the coast to our campsite after a long day of explorations on our Namibian #roadtrip #goldenhour
Having crossed our first border on our #overland trip across Southern #Africa, our group arrived at the Felix Unite campsite on the banks of the Orange River in #Namibia 🇳🇦. They have a very good bar there, as I mostly recall...

An amazing campsite set on the Fish River. Get up early and walk down the river, depending on the time of year it will have different levels of water but their is a path. As the sun rises and lights up the mountains on the west side of the valley, there are some amazing reflections. A beauty to behold. #GreatOutdoors

Me having a good time during #goldenhour in Namibia. If you happen to find yourself in this part of the world I can recommend staying at the Desert Horse Campsite. The #hiking trails in the area are fabulous and it's only a short distance from the coast. Watching the sun set from atop the large rock formations in the area is a must!

Ghost town outside of Lüderitz. Diamonds were so abundant in this area they were scattered on the ground. Once the mines ran dry, residents moved on. #kolmanskop #namibia #Adventure #History
