We are located with in walking distance (about one mile) to the mouth of the Kenai River and beach access where you can still have a fire , drive on the beach and of course, do some world class fishing! There is a nature trail for hiking just a few blocks away. Our property is only a five minute cab ride to the airport, downtown, shopping and local attractions. We have assigned parking. Based on my experience I would call this complex in need of a full make-over. The first day we were there someone walked in our door and said we needed to leave because they had the unit reserved through Air B&B. I had to explain that we had reserved the unit through VRBO. I called the number that was provided by the owner's representative, and they just shrugged it off. We were very hesitant to leave any of our personal belonging behind because the code had been given to one person and who knows if anyone else had the code to the front door. If you don't mind sleeping on furniture from the local thrift store, then this is the place. But know that you are paying the cost of a hotel unit. It was very reasonably priced. We each got our own room, the internet was blazing fast, and there was always a place to park. We had a hiccup with the door code and the property manager responded promptly. There is plenty of room to spread out and the unit is near all the things you need in town.
