"Beautiful surroundings, the cottage we stayed in was spacious, well kept and ideal for a relaxing break. During most of our stay the onsite restaurant was closed but there are great local options available. The only downside was the pool area was looking a little tired with the jacuzzi and a shower in the changing area out of service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our time here."

"The room was great, really cozy and e perching you need. Tv had all the streaming services. Netflix, YouTube, prime etc stunning view over the much and down to scheihallion covered in snow. Only issue was the check in time which st 4pm is pretty late, I spoke to the lady in the next lodge to us who said they let her check in at 2. So we spent 2 hours up at the main hotel waiting. But other than that a very pleasant experience. Would definitely visit again in summer to make better use of the...

"Couldn’t fault our stay here. It’s beautiful. Perfect location for exploring the area, we visited Inverness Dundee and sterling and the nearby waterfalls the hermitage and black spout. Lots of information about the local area to read and guided by the lovely staff. All polite and knowledgeable. Accommodation spotless with high quality soaps and shampoo. Short walk to Pitlochry and local co-op. Daily breakfast was a delight so much to choose from, spoilt for choice. Hubby loved daily homemade porridge with whisky..no way he’s getting that at home. Plan to revisit later on in the year as so much left to see and do. Thank you so much. Four night stay not long enough for us."

It truly was one of the warmest and friendliest environments I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Paul’s skills as a chef were amazing, as well! The breakfasts were superb and the lone dinner eaten at the hotel was also memorably delicious. Clean rooms, super staff and a great location for exploring central Scotland, the Birchwood Pitlochry checks all these boxes multiple times! I will stay here again!!!"
