Great place to stay.
This was such a fun place to stay. Great location in the country and yet close to everything. The giant main living area, hot tub and deck were perfect. It lived up to our expectations. Only negatives we ran into were some of the dishes were dirty and needed rewashed. Also we were short on bath towels but just used our own towels we brought for the hot tub. Those issues were minor and we would recommend this location to any one looking for a family get away.

Great, unique, and comfortable stay
This property is clean and comfortable. As an old church, it’s such a unique place and we enjoyed the quiet location. Quick drive to old man’s cave and Chillicothe for plenty of activities.

My stay at Bethel Chapel was incredible. The property is beautiful and surrounded by farmland, creating and extremely peaceful environment. The modern accommodations juxtaposed with the historical building was a welcome surprise. I would definitely stay there again.

Unique and enjoyable three day stay
We had a great three night stay at the Sanctuary. The beds were terrific and the place was very clean. The weather turned cold and the house was toasty warm! Plenty of towels and kitchen well equiped for cooking simple dinner. Wonderful alternative. We really enjoyed the large great room to spend the evenings together.

Awesome rental! Absolutely no complaints. Stayed for two nights with my husband and some family. Drove to Hocking Hills a few times for hikes and got a few Doordashes. No bad experiences and are already planning our next trip at the same location. 😊 Loved it!

Quirky, Clean and Amazing
We love experiences and this was just what the doctor ordered! We originally had hoped for an earlier weekends in October, but waited just a hair too long. When we realized the next available weekend was Halloween, we knew it was meant to be! Everything was very clean, well organized, well stocked and COMFY! There are well placed TVs all over which was great for our multi generational family. The kids LOVED the open floor plan upstairs and all the guest rooms were private and had comfy beds. This is an amazing find! We had so much fun walking the on-site graveyard and teaching our kiddos about respecting sacred areas. We watched a ton of football on the big comfy couches, enjoyed family meals and are already planning on when can rent this space again! It was close to the Great Seal State Park- and we did some hiking there- but we mostly did nothing but enjoy each other’s company. It was wonderful.

Unique Property
The pictures don't really do this property justice. We stayed for a weekend in the fall (the week before Halloween). Scenery is beautiful and graveyard was interesting to explore. The property is spacious and we had more than enough room for the six of us. It can easily accommodate more but the two bathrooms might be limiting for larger groups doing an extended stay. The property was clean and management was very responsive to several questions I had prior to our stay.

The neighbors
We stayed over the weekend for my SIL bachelorette party. When I saw the pictures of Sanctuary, I did see a handful of tombstones. Come to find out, it's in a graveyard. It is spectacularly taken care of and absolutely stunning at sunset. It was a little creepy at first, but warmed up to the neighbors pretty quick. It isn't a huge one, but I think some of the tombstones dates back to the late 1700s, but its hard to see the witing. It was an experience we will never forget! It's renovated beautifully and clean. The pictures do not do it justice!
