"Absolutely wonderful inn to stay at (Ryokan), and our favorite stay of a two week Japan trip. It felt like an authentic Japanese experience, while still being very accessible to foreigners like us. The owners are very friendly and attentive right from when you arrive. The rooms are a traditional style with tatami floors. The rooms look out over a small creek so it is very peaceful. "Simply beautiful. The onsen was so wonderful and the community onsen was even better. The staff were absolute professionals and went above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast and dinner were as we expected. I really liked their tempura but i loved the sashimi. My partner loved the beer dispenser:) We feel a got the best deal!"

"Given these are hostel prices the room I had was marvellous. A rural location but the bus stops were outside. I had a car which made the visit easier for me as I had the freedom to get around as I chose. Beautiful area, a great hostel with gorgeous scenery. The onset was lovely and clean, and the only thing that made it feel hostel like was that the interior decor was probably tired, however, coming from the UK, that is par for the course in this country and the hostel was more than tolerable for the price and facilities."
