The living area & kitchen are both beautiful and beachy, setting the coastal ambience the moment you arrive (& the kitchen is fully equipped for the chef in your family to meal prep!) Plan your stay today! The Space: BookSmart Properties presents: Ocean Breeze! Aptly named for the salty breeze you will feel from the nearby ocean, this home is perfectly set up for a relaxing vacation. Public beach access via Starfish Lane is available minutes away, with an easy crosswalk for safe walking to the sand. The deck of the home provides plenty of seating for you to enjoy the sun and salt air, while the hot tub (which seats 6) encourages total relaxation. Inside, the chef of your family can easily whip up family dinner in the beautiful and fully stocked kitchen. Barstool seating makes for easy conversation during meal prep, or a spot to grab a quick snack before heading out. The dining table seats 4 with additional seats at the bar. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of space. Very well maintained. The handicap accessibility for my 83-year-old mother was perfect. The only thing I would change would be to have a roof over the handicap ramp so that when it’s raining, she would have the ability to leave the house. The location of this house is also very nice.
