Kootenai Falls Tours

We were going to stay at this hotel a 2nd time on October 5 and we were treated so awful that we canceled our reservation and stayed somewhere else. Our room wasn’t ready at 4:00pm to check in, we waited around for an hour and went back to the front desk, still not ready. I had been hearing a lot of people being told that they didn’t have a room ready yet. I went back to the front desk and asked for an estimate for how much longer we would need to wait, I was told they still had 60 rooms left to clean. At that point I said I wanted to cancel my reservation. Since I knew it was technically non refundable I asked for the last name of the person I was talking to at the front desk, he became SO rude and very unprofessional. I then asked to speak to the manager and was told she was cleaning rooms. I was able to get a refund from Expedia. Would I recommend this hotel to anyone else, absolutely not!

Excellent suite and well-provisioned. The downside is that nearby a/c or refrigeration units are loud; it was not the idyllic and peaceful lakeside retreat we had hoped for.

Our stay was lovely. Walls were pretty thin, could hear the neighbors behind us.
