Great little hotel in a great area that was walking distance to Nishiki Market, Kyoto Castle, Ninja Samurai Museum, great restaurants and public transport. Room was very spacious for Japan and had plenty of room for my family of 4. Hotel was quiet, clean and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

Ori Rokkaku is a true gem! The apartment with western sitting area we had booked was spacious, modern and we immediately felt like home. The pre-check in via the Kabin-App was easy enough and even when the front desk is not manned, they can video chat with you to explain the process once you‘re there. Highly recommended if you are looking for more space for you as a couple or small family and fear that more traditional Japanese hotel rooms might be too small from a Western point of view. Overall; Five stars plus!

Rooms were very spacious the kitchen included the necessities for prepping a quick meal, comfortable bed, shower and tub was spacious, laundry on site was a huge plus after traveling for several days. I would absolutely stay there again.

Great stay for a family of 5, with 3 older kids. 10-15 minute walk to different subway options depending where you’re headed. Room was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. 15 minute walk to Nishiki Market which was filled with shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

ORI Rokkaku looks deceptively small from the exterior however our room/studio was very spacious and also had a well equipped kitchen. It was very clean and all the amenities were fantastic and the gentleman at the reception was very helpful in giving suggestions for local restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place.
