"The apartment is located downtown Ellsworth on the 2nd floor with a view of Main Street. There is a retail shop below. Parking and check in were super easy. There is ample free parking on the street and a city lot one block away. The apartment was very clean, roomy, and well laid out. We didn't really make meals there, but the kitchen has everything you need to do so (full size oven/stove, refrigerator/freezer, etc., but no dishwasher). The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, nice size closet and a desk. The bathroom is roomy with a nice shower. There is no washer or dryer but there is a nice laundromat a couple miles away. The location is excellent. Great restaurants, breweries, and shops are all within walking distance. Acadia National Park is only a 30 minute drive. Bar Harbor is about the same.Communication with the host is outstanding. I had a few questions about parking and check in and always received an answer in a few minutes!Ellsworth is a nice city that seems quite safe. This is a great apartment with a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again."

"We were originally looking for a place closer to (or in) Bar Harbor. Because of the time of year, the options were more limited, prices were higher, and we also read about the number of tourists in the area. So, we expanded our search and found this property. It was perfect and we loved it here. The hosts have done a great job. The apartment is well equipped with everything we needed. It's a short drive to the island and other attractions in the area, and it's located in a very quiet area. We even took advantage of the kayaks and went out onto the lake for a few hours one morning. We would definitely consider staying here again if we are ever in the area. "

"I don't write a review like this lightly, but the hosts of this property are a 5/5! Instead of running a business and just taking your money, they hosted like my Southern mother invited someone over. The view was beautiful and check-in was simple. The beds, sofa and seating were comfortable (a rare find these day). The kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped so you could explore the area without spending a ton on needed items that wouldn't fit in our suitcase. They had Rubbermaid containers, water bottles, ice packs and lunch coolers available for our hikes in Acadia. This was so appreciated! They even said "no honey, you don't have to take out the trash when you leave. We have people for that." (maybe not exactly that wording, but that's how I interpreted it). I would highly recommend this property and will stay here again next time we're in Maine. "
"This house was perfect for our Acadia trip. We were close enough to the visitors center, but far enough away from all the traffic of Bar Harbor. We also loved the house. It had so many extras including the stocked with wood fire pit, beautiful reading nook, awesome grill and outdoor area, cornhole boards, and more. It was also very clean. One of the best VRBOs we've ever stayed in!"

"Sea Glass Place was a very clean and comfortable rental with all the amenities for a vacation on the coast. The location provided beautiful and serene views of the bay in a quiet neighborhood great for walking or relaxing outside on the deck. It was a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and an hour to Bangor or Portland. I highly recommend for your next couples getaway."
"This house is definitely one of the best equipped rentals we have stayed in. We enjoyed being right on the water and got to see seals and Eagles everyday. The drive to Acadia is roughly 30 minutes and an easy drive. Owner is very responsive and great with communication. "

"I stayed at this rental with my husband and kids, and overall the property is great. It’s an easy drive to all things Acadia but is not overpriced and overcrowded like the Bar Harbor area. There was plenty of room for the four of us. Close to the restaurants and grocery stores in Ellsworth. Beds were comfortable. We did let the host know soon after check-in that a bedroom was missing its smoke detector and the bedroom light wasn’t working, we didn’t hear back about those issues. There is a full kitchen with the basics but nothing else. No coffee filters or even salt and pepper shakers, so we had to buy those. It’s a serviceable place to stay, especially with kids. Best of all, no chore list at checkout."
