“Amazing little gem in East Texas!! We had a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing 5 days here. The cabin was beautiful with the live edge pine and cedar on the walls. The hosts were very welcoming, kind, and thoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure our trip was an enjoyable one and we had everything we needed. The baked treats were delicious. “Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. “There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. ”

“Loved everything about this place. House was great - big enough for everyone with plenty of space. Pool table and games galore! Comfortable beds! Well stocked! Right on the lake with great views from almost anywhere in the house. we brought our boat and caught several fish! Mainly bass but also a catfish. The boathouse with the lift was a huge plus. Communication with the host was great! Check in and out was super easy. Would highly recommend!! - ”

“Another great experience at Pine Grove, peaceful and relaxing. The house stayed cool in the heat and the trees provided plenty of shade. The fishing was excellent as we caught over 40 fish in 3 days. And don’t miss the opportunity to interact with Paula and Jim. They are very nice people and very f you need anything just ask. ”
