i stayed at the do rest over the weekend becacsue i was doing some hiking and this plae was perfet. Upon check in we went to the cabin that we were told we would have and the person in there was areal jerk so upon seeing the owners they gave us a 2 bedroom cabin which was more then big enough for us andi was nto going to complain at all it wasa amazing, so upon check out we decided to stay one more night and was given a saller cabin and it was perfect. later in the evening the staff made pizza s and brought them to out door and this was so awesome to do.In generl this place is perfect , it is very rustic and in the trees which makes it more like camping and gives it the great feeling . overall this place is amazing and i will def go back to this place in the future. Becasue it feel like home away from home. great job Do rest court for making our experiece a grea one.

The owner was completely unprofessional. The cabins have not been updated since the 1940s when it was first built . The TVs and furniture are ancient . We're talking about the old bubble TVs that probably didn't even work. The cabin had a kitchen with absolutely zero items to use. They didn't even provide coffee that every Hotel does at minimum. When I asked for an additional blanket for my nephew who wanted to sleep on the pull out lovest, it wasn't available. The response was "well there are sheets on it aren't there?". When I confronted him about not having anything to use in the kitchen he replied "well you should have called ahead". I said "why would I call ahead, every hotel that has a kitchenette in it provides you with utensils, plates etc". He then offered me to leave and give me a refund, in which we did. I even thanked him for doing right by me...WRONG. I had to go on a 3-day fight with Expedia and him in order to get that refund. He told me I was a miserable person because I was unhappy. I never once got rude with him but he was nasty with me. He accused me of shutting the door in his face when he walked away from the door as I assumed he was leaving. I will never ever recommend this place nor will I ever stay at this place!

It's not updated but it is the cleanest place ive ever stayed. Even updated more "fancy" hotels aren't as clean. Owner was super nice! Pool was clean and warm. Cute little play area for kids with some classic playground equipment. Only negatives were that its on a busy road so it was pretty loud and the beds weren't super comfortable. I would definitely recommend if you're not looking for a quiet getaway. It is centrally located to many attractions and shops.

The beds are old spring beds very very uncomfortable. We had 2 cottages the one that my husband and I were in the light shown through the door all night into my face while I was trying to sleep. The air conditioner froze up, we had to turn it off and let it defrost all day to get it to work again. The TV was extremely snowy. Very outdated. Shower super small. The owner Rob was extremely friendly, helpful, kind and courteous. Super cute for what we paid, but unfortunately, my old body can’t handle a bad bed 😢 the pool was great !
