Looked like barracks. Run down, no one at the main house with broken screens and just yucky. Turned around and left l, never checked in.

The Maple Leaf is in a great location, walking distance to several restaurants and quick drive to many others. We stayed on 2 different nights over a 5 day time period and both of the rooms we were given were clean and we did not lack for any basics. Beds were comfortable, sheets soft, and both the a/c & heating units were efficient and quiet. Parking was right in front of each room. The check-in was smooth and simple and they went above and beyond to provide us with a much needed early check-in for one of our stays. Would not hesitate to stay at the Maple Leaf should we visit the area again!

Overall a clean room but didn’t look like the pictures (the picture for the basic room had 2 king beds) and this just had one full bed which was a bit cramped. Good walking distance to lake placid downtown.

#### Wonderful stay!
We stayed one night at this motel to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. The location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk to Mirror Lake, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a large TV, a fridge, and a microwave. Everything was spotless. There’s no front desk, you receive a code and room number before your arrival, which makes check-in super easy and convenient. Great location and very good value for the price. We’ll definitely stay here again! 🍁
